These are the slides from my talk about big data options at Google Developer Group Trondheim in November 2019. The tagline for the talk was: “Hadoop is the hammer of big data. It’s time to look at some other useful tools that are probably a better choice for you.”

So while the talk revolved around Hadoop, the alternatives ranging from relational databases to graph databases are just as important in order for the audience to make informed decisions about tools.
